Yes, as part of our COVID-19 response, members must reserve timed entry into the Aquarium. The number of people allowed inside the Aquarium at a time is being limited to ensure proper social distancing. Reservations may be made up to 10 days in advance. For support with reservations, please contact us at 410-659-4230 from 9 am to 4:30 pm, seven days a week.

Yes! Within 30 days of your purchase, you can apply a portion of the cost of general admission tickets to a new membership for the ticket holders.

Individual: A maximum value of $39.95 (value of one adult general admission ticket) may be applied.

Dual: A maximum value of $79.90 (value of two adult general admission tickets) may be applied.

Family: A maximum value of $169.75 (value of two adult general admission tickets and three children's tickets) may be applied.

Ocean Ambassador: A maximum value of $229.65 (value of two adult general admission tickets and five children's tickets) may be applied.

If you purchased your tickets online, please call 410-659-4230 between 9 am and 4:30 pm seven days a week to activate your membership by phone. If you purchased your tickets at the National Aquarium, you must have the original paper receipt for the tickets; contact us at to complete the process. Please note that purchases from multiple visits cannot be combined, and the cost of 4D movies are not eligible to be deducted from the price of membership. Membership balance is due at the time of activation.

Yes. The National Aquarium is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (EIN 52-1121163). Your membership donation is tax deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law.

If you recently joined or renewed your membership, check your email for a welcome message containing a link to download your digital membership card. You can also contact the membership department ( to request your digital card.

One membership card will be issued for each adult named on the membership. Children will not receive membership cards unless they are 16 or older and named as a primary membership holder.

Yes! If you have forgotten or lost your membership card you can request a printed replacement at Member Services located on Pier 3 or email your request to If you have recently joined or renewed, check your welcome email to download a digital card to your Apple or Google wallet.

Yes. Visit Member Services to upgrade or renew your membership, and to purchase 4D Immersion Theater, tour or guest admission tickets.

Members may purchase guest admission tickets, at a 20% discount, at Member Services or by calling 410-659-4230. Tickets will be mailed to your home within 7-10 business days or may be left at Member Services for pickup with 24 hours' notice. Guests may pick up these tickets and enter through the Member Entrance without a member present. Valid photo ID is required. These tickets expire one year from purchase.

Yes! With a reservation, children covered by the membership can visit without an adult if they are 16 years of age or older and bring the membership card of an adult named on the membership and a valid photo ID. A named adult must accompany all children under the age of 16.

Yes! When none of the adults named on the membership can attend, one sitter may accompany children covered by the membership free of charge. The sitter must possess your membership card, their photo ID and a signed note from an adult member identifying the sitter and children attending.

The Aquarium's official parking partners are Parkway Lockwood Place Garage and LAZ Inner Harbor Garage. Tickets from these garages can be validated at the Aquarium's Main Entrance. Please note that these garages offer early-bird weekday parking discounts. If you park before 9 am on a weekday, we recommend not validating your parking at the Aquarium since this will override your early-bird parking rate.

Memberships are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Membership cards are not transferable to anyone not covered by your membership, except for a babysitter who can accompany children covered by the membership free of charge.
