Overview

It's time for our annual free party to celebrate the end of school and the beginning of summer! On two evenings—Tuesday, June 10 and Thursday, June 12, 2025—we're opening the Aquarium for free to Baltimore City and Baltimore County sea-star students and their families.

Event Registration

Guests are required to reserve tickets online prior to the event. Reservations for timed entry will open on April 29, 2025, and close on June 9 (or when capacity is reached). Tickets for School Shell-ebration will not be available at our box office.

A limit of six tickets per registration is in place. Guests cannot change their reservations at the door. Children ages 4 and under will count toward the six-person limit.

Event Entry

All tickets will be issued in keeping with our timed entry system. Your online registration will list the entry time for your party. Please have your registration available when you arrive at the Aquarium, either on your phone or as a printed page. Parties will not be allowed to enter the building ahead of their reserved time.

Parking

The National Aquarium's official parking facility partners—Harbor Park Garage, LAZ Inner Harbor Garage and Parkway Lockwood Place Garage—will honor their normal discounted parking rate for Aquarium guests. All guests will need their parking validated at the Aquarium to receive the discounted rate, so please remember to bring your parking ticket with you.

Additional Information

For the comfort and safety of all guests, the Aquarium cannot accommodate strollers on our exhibit route. On-site, self-service stroller parking is available, but space is limited. Backpack carriers are not available for rent at this time.
