Overview
Sharks are not the fearsome eating machines portrayed in movies; they're unique and intelligent animals whose amazing survival adaptations have kept them atop the ocean food chain since prehistoric times. In this engaging presentation, we'll introduce your students to these fascinating "monsters" while dispelling some of the most common shark myths.
This program is designed as an outreach program for your school or location.

Outreach Programs in Your School or Location
The National Aquarium will begin accepting requests for education outreach programs for the 2024-25 school year in July 2024. These outreach programs are available November through April. Multiple programs on the same day in the same location may be available for an additional fee.
*Depending on your location, travel fees of $25 to $100 may be applicable.
Cancellation Policy
You must cancel your reservation at least 21 days prior to your scheduled program to receive a full refund. If you cancel your reservation less than 21 days in advance or fail to participate in your scheduled program, you forfeit all program fees.
