Lauren Nguyen

Controller and Vice President of Finance Lauren Nguyen and her team drive the National Aquarium's financial excellence and integrity. Lauren oversees the organization's finance and accounting functions, which include accounts payable, grant reporting, audit and tax filings, and financial reporting. She also helps develop the Aquarium's financial strategy and sustainability.

Lauren is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She previously worked at EY (formerly Ernst & Young); &pizza, a growth company in the restaurant space; and 50CAN, an education advocacy non-profit. Lauren graduated with a concentration in accounting and a minor in environmental science from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce.
