Vice President of Marketing and Engagement Strategy
As vice president of marketing and engagement strategy for the National Aquarium, Emma Wesoloski leads the marketing department's efforts to drive attendance and general admission revenue, enhance the brand within the community and maintain strategic relationships and partnerships in Baltimore and other communities where the Aquarium has a presence. Her team handles advertising, partnership building, tourism marketing, community outreach, access and engagement, special events and marketing programs. Emma also represents the Aquarium on local and regional steering committees, including the Visit Baltimore Cultural Tourism Advisory Committee.
Emma joined the National Aquarium in 2011 and has held a variety of positions within the marketing department. She began her career in 2007 coordinating special events at Port Discovery Children's Museum, and later held marketing and promotions positions at Blue Agave Restaurant and the Maryland Science Center.
She holds a bachelor's degree in mass communication with a minor in history from Towson University.
