Alison Dinger

National Aquarium Vice President of Human Resources and Administration Alison Dinger is responsible for overseeing HRIS/payroll, compensation and benefits, talent management, employee relations, compliance, risk mitigation and office management. An HR professional with more than two decades of experience, Alison joined the Aquarium in 2010. She led the implementation of an HRIS system that includes paperless electronic payroll processing to align with the Aquarium's conservation mission, as well as the creation of a competitive, market-based total compensation program for Aquarium staff and executives. She oversees the Aquarium's well-rounded a la carte benefits plan, which continues to evolve based on benefit trends and best practices. Before joining the Aquarium, Alison spent the first half of her career in a variety of HR roles in the banking industry.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a minor in sociology from Pennsylvania State University.
