Sameer Sidh

Representative for the Baltimore County Executive, ex officio

Sameer Sidh is Baltimore County's senior deputy administrative officer for economic development and infrastructure. He also serves as acting director of the Baltimore County Department of Economic and Workforce Development. In these roles, he oversees public works, transportation, permits, approvals and inspections, environmental planning and sustainability. His recent accomplishments include securing the largest affordable housing deal in Baltimore County history and leading efforts to redevelop Security Square Mall.

Prior to joining Baltimore County, Mr. Sidh served as chief of staff to the Howard County executive, with broad oversight over land use, infrastructure, and legislative and communications functions. He also previously held leadership roles at Towson University, the Office of the Mayor of Baltimore City, Maryland Department of Transportation, and StateStat in the Office of the Governor.

He holds a doctorate degree in jurisprudence from the University of Baltimore School of Law and is a member of the Maryland State Bar. He earned his bachelor's degree in political science from James Madison University.
