Bob Carter

Chair Emeritus

Bob Carter established Carter (formerly Bob Carter Companies) in 2010 and currently serves as chair. He is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). Prior to forming Carter, Bob was senior advisor for Changing Our World and Omnicom, and he spent 26 years with Ketchum, one of the world's largest consulting companies, serving 15 years as president and CEO.

Bob serves as past chair or chair emeritus for several organizations, including the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) International Board of Directors, Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, and the Boys' Latin School of Maryland. He was also a trustee of the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and others. Bob is currently serving as a founding member of the World Health Organization Foundation board in Geneva, Switzerland.

Bob is a graduate of the Boys' Latin School of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University. He and his wife, Carol, live in Anna Maria, Florida.
