Read to Reef Book Club

Read to Reef Book Club

Spring 2019

Underwater worlds are waiting. Dive into a book today. Read five aquatic books, and receive four tickets to the National Aquarium.

The spring season of Read to Reef has come to an end.

Baltimore is packed with readers—so many, in fact, that the spring season of the Read to Reef Book Club has concluded.

The end of spring's Read to Reef season doesn't mean the reading stops! The National Aquarium's partnership with the Enoch Pratt Free Library continues through the summer with Pratt Library's Summer Challenge program, and another season of the Read to Reef Book Club will return in the fall. Check back for more information, or sign up at the bottom of this page to receive updates in our Aquamail newsletter.

Keep up the good reading!

It's Your Aquarium

To celebrate our local roots and to give back to the community that has given us so much, the Aquarium is proud to host a number of programs that allow locals to visit their Aquarium for less. The National Aquarium and the Enoch Pratt Free Library are proud to partner in the Read to Reef book club to encourage reading and grant free admission to participating families through their local library branches.

By connecting Baltimore youth's love of reading to the aquatic world, the Aquarium hopes to drive awareness of issues facing our blue planet and the critical responsibility each of us has to protect it. We embrace the opportunity to raise an environmentally conscious generation that will respect and preserve the ocean that sustains us. Knowledge is a critical tool in achieving that goal—where better to find it than in a book or at the Aquarium?
