Overview
Downtown Discovery Days are a chance to explore and enjoy some of the area's best cultural attractions and museums for less! The Aquarium is distributing a minimum of 10,000 pre-reserved tickets through our timed reservation system throughout the multi-day Downtown Partnership promotion.
Spaces must be reserved, and parties will be limited to six people per registration. A payment of $10 per person for guests ages 5 and up (children 4 and under are free) will be required for entry upon arrival. Reservations will become available on January 20, 2026, at approximately 3 p.m. Additional Downtown Discovery Day slots will not be available at our box office in advance of or throughout the promotion.
Event Registration
Guests must register online before the promotion. Reservations can be made starting on January 20, 2026, at approximately 3 p.m. Additional reservations at reduced pricing will not be available at our box office during the promotion.
A limit of six guests per registration will be in place. While children ages 4 and under may attend for free, they will count toward the six-person per registration limit. Guests can alter their reservations in advance. They cannot, however, add more attendees to a reservation if it exceeds the six-person limit or if there are no additional spaces available for their reserved entry time. Guests cannot change their reservations at the door.
Event Entry
All reservations will be issued in keeping with our timed entry system. Your online registration will list the entry time for your party. Please have your registration available when you arrive at the Aquarium, either on your phone or as a printed page. After arriving, you will need to show proof of Maryland residency and pay at the ticket center before proceeding to the Main Entrance. Parties will not be allowed to enter the building ahead of their reserved time.
Parking
The National Aquarium's official parking facility partners—Harbor Park Garage, LAZ Inner Harbor Garage and Parkway Lockwood Place Garage—will honor their normal discounted parking rate for Aquarium guests. All guests must have their parking validated at the Aquarium to receive the discounted rate. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you.
Additional Information
For the comfort and safety of all guests, the Aquarium cannot accommodate strollers on our exhibit route. On-site stroller parking is available, but space is limited.
