Christopher J. Griffith

As chief operating officer and executive vice president of KCI Technologies, Inc., Chris Griffith oversees the day-to-day operations of the company, which employs more than 1,700 people in 20 states. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Chris has more than 35 years of experience in design, program and construction management, and holds master's degrees from University of Maryland, University of Hawaii and Boston University. Chris spent 13 years in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps prior to joining KCI, is a registered professional engineer (PE) in several states as well as a certified construction manager (CCM). He served on several national committees for the Construction Management Association of America, including Professional Development, Emerging Technologies and Standards of Practice. In addition, he served locally on the American Council of Engineering Companies Maryland Executive Committee. Chris remains active with CMAA as a volunteer instructor, teaching clients the benefits of agency construction management and responsible project management techniques. He also serves on the YMCA Community Leadership Board and the Community College of Baltimore County Board.
