Carolyn E. Howell is the founder and CEO of EVENTS USA. She is a visionary corporate event planning and producing professional with nearly 30 years of expertise. Carolyn has been the creative energy behind more than 2,600 successful events from seminars, summits, conferences, governmental trade missions and training meetings to formal receptions, galas, client appreciation experiences and award shows.
Throughout her career, Carolyn has received several accolades and honors. These include being named an ICABA Women of Impact Honoree, a Community Business Leader from Women of Prince George's County, the Women in Business Champion of the Year by the D.C. Chamber of Commerce, a Top 100 Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by Capitol Region Minority Supplier Diversity Council, the Chairman's Award presented by the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce, and the Sterling, Virginia, Woman of the Year Award. She is a graduate of the Washington Business Journal Minority Business Leaders Class of 2010.
Carolyn is a member of multiple professional clubs and boards, including the Women Presidents Organization; the Board of Directors of the D.C. Chamber of Commerce; the Board of Directors of the Mansion on O Street and O Museum; Skal International, Washington, D.C., the International Association of Travel and Tourism Professionals; and the St. Croix Economic Development Initiative and the Caribbean Americas Single Economy (SEDI-CASE) Advisory Board.
