At the National Aquarium, there are so many ways to visit 20,000 of your favorite neighbors. With an ever-growing lineup of programs that offer local residents reduced or free admission, the National Aquarium welcomes you—with more opportunities than ever before—to stop by and say hello!
Half-Price Friday Nights
Friday is your night! Enjoy access to our award-winning exhibits for half the price of general admission during Half-Price Friday Nights, brought to you by M&T Bank. An evolution of our Friday After Five program, Half-Price Friday Nights runs year-round, allowing you to spend any (or every) Friday evening after 5 pm with our 20,000 animals. Tickets are available online or Friday evenings on-site.
Show your state pride! From Tuesday, September 5, 2017, to Wednesday, February 28, 2018, Maryland residents can visit the Aquarium from Sunday to Friday before noon and receive a special residents-only rate. That’s $10 off for adults and $5 off for children.
Simply reference Maryland Mornings at the ticket window and show proof of residency to receive the special pricing.
Tickets must be purchased on-site. Blackout dates apply. Senior and military guests will be eligible for the same special price as adult guests.
Read to Reef
The National Aquarium and the Enoch Pratt Free Library are connecting Baltimore students’ love of reading to the aquatic world with Read to Reef, a book club for kids in fifth grade and younger. In exchange for reading five or more aquatic- or conservation-themed books, Pratt Library cardholders can earn up to four tickets to the National Aquarium. This fall, visit a Pratt Library branch throughout the month of October to receive a Read to Reef bookmark, while supplies last, and dive into reading. Visit our Read to Reef page to learn more about the program.
Free Fall Friday Night
We are opening our doors to our community and inviting you to explore our aquatic treasures for FREE during Free Fall Friday Night!
Join us after 5 pm on Friday, October 27, 2017, as we stand alongside the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts and our cultural community during this month-long celebration of our beloved city’s thriving cultural scene. The Aquarium is proud to help bring awareness to all Baltimore has to offer by inviting thousands to share in–and be inspired to protect–the wonders of the underwater world.
Pay What You Want Day
We are proud to give back to our community that has given us so much by offering our annual Pay What You Want Day, made possible with the generous support of T. Rowe Price. On Sunday, November 5, 2017, you may choose your admission price—yes, whatever you chose to donate!—to access our award-winning exhibits, reconnect with our natural wonders and support our conservation efforts.
Made Possible by Our Official Community Engagement Sponsor
The National Aquarium joins our downtown neighbors in offering Dollar Days admission for just $1 on December 9th and 10th, 2017. Tickets can only be purchased on-site on the day of your visit. Visit our Dollar Days page to learn more.
