Join the National Aquarium for Israel Sea the Future, a limited-engagement exhibition and lecture opportunity presented by Israel’s EcoOcean

The National Aquarium is pleased to host representatives of EcoOcean, an Israeli nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the marine and coastal environments of Israel and its surrounding region. EcoOcean’s new multimedia exhibit, Israel Sea the Future, will be on display at the National Aquarium for an extremely limited engagement on November 16 and 17 only, culminating in a powerful presentation featuring experts from both EcoOcean and National Geographic outlining the vast opportunities and challenges facing the Mediterranean Sea and its coastlines.

Thursday evening’s presentation and Q&A, moderated by National Aquarium CEO John Racanelli, will feature expert voices on the future of the Israel Sea and surrounding areas, including:

  • Dr. Assaf Ariel, EcoOcean scientific advisor
  • Dr. Beverly Goodman, Haifa University assistant professor and National Geographic explorer
  • Mr. Andreas Weil, EcoOcean founder and chairman
  • Mr. Arik Rosenblum, EcoOcean executive director

The evening’s events are complimentary, but pre-registration is required. In addition to the presentation, light fare and beverages, as well as the opportunity to explore the Israel Sea the Future exhibit, will be available.
