The National Aquarium welcomed 1,253 guests to its annual Grade A Student Night held on June 25. The event, which celebrated students who have achieved three or more A’s (or equivalent) in any one marking period and are enrolled in PreK-12 in Baltimore City, Baltimore County or Howard County, included free admission for those students from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
This year, students who attended enjoyed the Aquarium’s exhibits, including the newly opened Living Seashore exhibit featuring two touch pools, and got to experience a special showings in the 4-D Immersion Theater, music, animal encounters and a visit from both the Oriole Bird and the Aquarium’s mascot, Puffin.
Grade “A” Student Night is just one of the educational and outreach programs offered by the National Aquarium that benefit the community. For more information on the Aquarium’s many programs, visit aqua.org.
