National Aquarium announced the return of their 7-Day Ticket, allowing guests to visit the Baltimore facility as many times as they like for seven consecutive days to encourage visitation to the downtown area during the weeks surrounding the Grand Prix of Baltimore presented by SRT. Guests visiting between Monday, August 26, and Monday, September 2, can purchase the special ticket and visit the National Aquarium as many times as they like for seven consecutive days beginning with their first admission. The seven-day ticket is just one of several special offers for ticket buyers during the week.
“We want to take this opportunity to do our part by encouraging visitors to enjoy all Downtown Baltimore has to offer during the Grand Prix,” said Steven Schindler, SVP/CMO of National Aquarium. “There is so much to see at National Aquarium, including our brand new and breathtaking Blacktip Reef exhibit, and the Inner Harbor and with this special National Aquarium seven-day ticket, our guests will have the opportunity to leisurely explore it all.”
The seven-day ticket offer is available to purchase online at aqua.org or onsite at National Aquarium, Baltimore. All tickets issued for August 26 through September 2 will be valid for seven full days. No special promotion code or coupon is required. Tickets are non-transferable and guests will need to present identification for re-entry. Access may be limited depending on availability.
Grand Prix of Baltimore ticket holders can enjoy the additional benefit of accelerated entry by presenting their valid Grand Prix of Baltimore entry (e.g., pass, hand stamp, wristband) and a valid National Aquarium entry ticket between Friday, August 30, and Sunday, September 1. Accelerated entry enables these ticket holders to bypass the general admission line. Entry is subject to timed and maximum building capacity restrictions.
“We’re pleased to once again join with National Aquarium to offer Grand Prix ticketholders the opportunity to enjoy multiple visits to one of the country’s premier attractions during Race Week,” said Grand Prix of Baltimore General Manager Tim Mayer. “With so much to see and do at this world-class facility, the seven-day ticket offer ensures people can experience the aquarium at their own pace, without missing a single point of interest.”
One of the many things visitors will be able to experience during their visit to National Aquarium is Blacktip Reef, the $12.5 million coral-filled exhibit replicating Indo-Pacific reefs that opened earlier this month. The exhibit is active with life that guests can experience from many vantage points, including a floor-to-ceiling pop-out viewing window that allows guests to virtually come face-to-face with the 20 fast-moving blacktip reef sharks; Calypso, the 500+-pound sea turtle and more than 700 other animals.
To further encourage downtown visitors, the Grand Prix of Baltimore presented by SRT will offer 10% off all adult race tickets (except Andretti Club and Kona Grill Turn 1 Club tickets) with purchase of a National Aquarium ticket through Sunday, September 1. National Aquarium tickets can be purchased at aqua.org. Customers will receive a promotional code from the Aquarium that can be redeemed online via Mission Tix by entering the code on the “Promotions and Special Offers” tab or at any Grand Prix of Baltimore box office location. Code must be presented to redeem discount. For tickets and event information, visit the official event website at RaceOnBaltimore.com.
Those planning to visit National Aquarium during the Grand Prix can learn more about parking opportunities and discounts through a special race week page on the Aquarium website at: aqua.org/grandprix.
