Overview

Join us for an exclusive meet and greet with one of our scaly, cold-blooded animals. During this safe and socially distanced private experience, you and your group will come face to face with a reptilian animal ambassador. You’ll have the opportunity to ask our animal expert questions and learn more about these amazing animals.

Important

  • One add-on tour ticket will cover your entire group, and a General Admission ticket must be purchased for every guest in your group over the age of 2.
  • Your group may not exceed six participants.
  • This tour does not allow guests to touch or physically interact with the reptiles.
  • While we cannot guarantee a particular animal, some of the reptiles that you may encounter include lizards, turtles and snakes.

Before You Go

Everything you need to know before your Meet And Greet!

  • In addition to implementing enhanced health and safety measures in response to COVID-19, the Aquarium has limited capacity for tours. Each session will consist of one family/group at a time with a maximum of six people. This not only complies with our new safety measures, but also provides a more private, memorable experience for our guests.
  • Mask guidelines apply while on the experience. Learn more about our mask guidelines.
  • Participants must be in the same family/group and be able to stand together (less than 6 feet apart) during the tour. The tour guide will adhere to social distance guidelines.

Before your experience, please review the following important information:

  • Wear closed-toe, non-slip shoes.
  • Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of your tour. Check in at the Information Desk on Level 1 of Pier 3 (across from the 4D Immersion Theater).
  • Learn more about discounted parking at our partner garages. Bring your parking ticket to the Aquarium to have it validated before leaving.
  • When booking your tour, please notify Central Reservations of any guests with special needs.

There is no age requirement for this program; guests of all ages can participate. All guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, including if you miss your tour due to late arrival. If the Aquarium cancels your program, you'll have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

To ensure that your tour hasn't been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances such as animal health or inclement weather, please call 410-576-8822 the day of your program for cancellation information.

Your Meet and Greet will take place in a private room in the National Aquarium.

A parent or guardian must accompany all participants under the age of 16. Parents or guardians accompanying children must be at least 18 years old. For example, a 17-year-old may attend a tour, but their 10-year-old sibling may not accompany them without an adult.

This experience does not allow guests to touch or physically interact with the animal.

Closed-toe, non-slip shoes and comfortable clothing are recommended.
