Overview
Guests can get up close to watch our dolphins interacting with staff during our afternoon training session! See how we work with these intelligent marine mammals from behind the scenes on the back deck of Dolphin Discovery. Participants will get to know our marine mammal staff and have the opportunity to ask them questions.
Please note: Guests must remain a minimum of 3 feet away from the water's edge at all times. This experience does not include a touch interaction with the dolphins.
Personalized Buoy Add-On

Make your Dolphin Training Session even more memorable by purchasing a special buoy with a custom message delivered by one of the dolphins. This experience is the perfect option for someone celebrating a birthday, anniversary or proposal, and is only available for guests participating in the Dolphin Training Session.

Guests must purchase this experience at least three days in advance of their Dolphin Training Session.
Professional Photography Add-On
Price: $400
Professional photography may be available for your Dolphin Training Session for an additional cost with advanced request. Guests who purchase this experience will receive eight to 10 professionally edited digital photos of their session.

Before You Go
Everything you need to know before your Dolphin Training Session!
Before your tour, please review the following important information:
- Wear closed-toe, non-slip shoes.
- Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of your tour. Check in at the Information Desk (Pier 3, Level 1).
- You'll be asked to sign a waiver when you get here; please have each participant of your group print, sign and bring a copy to ensure that your tour starts on time. Participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian in order to attend.
- Learn more about discounted parking at our partner garages. Bring your parking ticket to the Aquarium to have it validated before leaving.
- When booking your tour, please notify Central Reservations of any guests with special needs.
Guests must be 8 years or older. All guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian in order to attend.
Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, including if you miss your tour due to late arrival. If the Aquarium cancels your program, you'll have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
To ensure that your tour hasn't been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances such as animal health or inclement weather, please call 410-576-8822 the day of your program for cancellation information.

A paid parent or guardian must accompany all participants under the age of 16. Minors 16 years of age or older may participate with a signed waiver from a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians accompanying children must be at least 18 years old. For example, a 17-year-old may attend a tour with a signed waiver, but their 10-year-old sibling may not accompany them without an adult.
This tour does not allow guests to touch the dolphins.
Closed-toe, non-slip shoes and comfortable clothing are recommended.
