Overview

The rain forests of South America are as fascinating and beautiful as they are wild! The National Aquarium education team will bring science to life for your students, leading them through an in-depth program about how plant and animal species interact and adapt for survival in the South American rain forest. You'll discover the importance of this unique habitat, threats to its survival and how you can influence its future.

Outreach Programs in Your School or Location

The National Aquarium education team will begin accepting requests for outreach programs for the 2023-24 school year in June 2023. Outreach programs are available November through April. Additional programs on the same day in the same location may be available for an additional fee.

*Depending on your location, travel fees of $25 to $100 may be applicable.

If you are unable to book an experience with our team but would still like your students to experience this program, we welcome you to download your own copy of this curriculum and add it to your upcoming lesson plans.

Cancellation Policy

You must cancel your reservation at least 21 days prior to your scheduled program to receive a full refund. If you cancel your reservation less than 21 days in advance or fail to participate in your scheduled program, you forfeit all program fees.
