Overview

Designed for middle and high school groups, this experience emphasizes water chemistry, animal care, exhibit maintenance and aquarium careers. Explore National Aquarium back-up areas, experiencing new sights and sounds! In coordination with Next Generation Science Standards, students will investigate a biological issue—societal roles of aquariums and zoos—and develop and defend their position. Please note that students must have a signed waiver to participate in this experience; students will receive a copy of the waiver after registering.

Live animals: Your program will include a behind-the-scenes look at parts of our main Aquarium campus

Cancellation Policy

You must cancel your reservation at least 21 days prior to your scheduled program to receive a full refund. If you cancel your reservation less than 21 days in advance or fail to participate in your scheduled program, you forfeit all program fees.
