Overview

Creating life-like habitats is one of the most important components of caring for animals in zoos and aquariums. The National Aquarium relies on our Exhibits and Design team to combine art with animal care. Learn how our experts use different art mediums to replicate a variety of natural habitats from ocean reefs to tropical rain forests. Students will get a behind-the-scenes look at our exhibit fabrication room and learn about how an interest in art can lead to a career at the National Aquarium.

Live animals: Your virtual program will include a behind-the-scenes look at parts of our Animal Care and Rescue Center.
