Overview

In this National Aquarium experience, your students will become detectives looking for clues as they deduce how adaptations help animals survive. Your class will observe, compare and study adaptations of Aquarium animals with our expert staff.

This program is available at the Aquarium as a field trip add-on or in your school or location as an outreach program.

Duration: 45 minutes
Minimum number of students: 12
Maximum number of students: 64 at the Aquarium; 30 per session at your school or location
*Price at the main Aquarium campus: $8 per student
*Price at your school or location: $250 for first program; $125 for each additional program booked for the same day

Outreach Programs in Your School or Location

The National Aquarium education team will begin accepting requests for outreach programs for the 2023-24 school year in June 2023. Outreach programs are available November through April. Additional programs on the same day in the same location may be available for an additional fee.

*Depending on your location, travel fees of $25 to $100 may be applicable.

If you are unable to book an experience with our team but would still like your students to experience this program, we welcome you to download your own copy of this curriculum and add it to your upcoming lesson plans.

Cancellation Policy

You must cancel your reservation at least 21 days prior to your scheduled program to receive a full refund. If you cancel your reservation less than 21 days in advance or fail to participate in your scheduled program, you forfeit all program fees.
