Read to Reef Book Club Returns!

We’re pleased to announce that the fall season of our Read to Reef Book Club will begin on October 1!

Published September 06, 2017

The Read to Reef Book Club, in partnership with the Enoch Pratt Free Library, offers free admission to the Aquarium for participating Baltimore-area children in fifth grade and younger who have a Pratt Library card.

Throughout the month of October 2017, children can visit their local Pratt Library branch, read aquatic-themed books and receive Aquarium admission for the reader and up to three guests. The program has already welcomed nearly 15,000 young readers and their families since launching in 2016.

To participate, visit your local Pratt Library branch to pick up an official Read to Reef bookmark. From there, check out the list of the National Aquarium’s favorite aquatic- or conservation-themed books, or ask your librarian for suggestions. Borrow, read or listen to someone read any five of these books and record them on your Read to Reef bookmark.

After reading five books, bring your completed bookmark to the National Aquarium’s ticket center through December 28, 2017, to exchange it for up to four admission tickets to be used that day. Some blackout dates apply.
