Join us for Time to Act: Youth Climate Leaders, a special Marjorie Lynn Bank Lecture Series Event featuring Nadia Nazar. Nadia is the co-founder and art director for Zero Hour, a student-led coalition that amplifies youth-driven messaging to decisionmakers in the fight to combat climate change. Zero Hour organized the Youth Climate March, Art Festival and Lobby Day last summer; this year they will present a Youth Climate Summit in Florida. When she's not on the front lines of climate action, Nadia is a high school student. Come hear her story this summer.

This lecture event coincides with the Aquarium's youth-focused Urban Climate Action Network (UCAN) conference. UCAN empowers teens, particularly those from communities most affected by climate change impacts, to connect with peers in other cities to discuss environmental, social and economic challenges, and to take action to create better places to live, work and play. The reception before Nadia's talk presents an opportunity to meet students from across the country taking part in UCAN.
