Earth Day Celebration
Sunday, April 22, 2012, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Join the National Aquarium for a celebration of our planet!
April 19-20, 10 am - 3 pm
Throughout the weekend leading up to Earth Day, which is officially recognized on April 22, National Aquarium guests can enjoy a variety of activities that promote earth friendly practices. Experts will teach guests how to celebrate Earth Day every day by bringing green practices into their daily lives, and will demonstrate how human action can positively or negatively impact the environment and animals like those in the care of the National Aquarium.
While learning new ways to preserve our planet, guests will participate in making recycled crafts, as well as other interactive activities and educational workshops.
Join us for one of three special boat tours, which are complimentary with the purchase of a National Aquarium ticket for Saturday, 4/19. What better way to celebrate our blue planet than with a two hour exploration of the Harbor! Enjoy views of Fort McHenry, trawl net fishing and biological sampling, an oyster activity and Q&A with local experts.
The Harbor Tours have SOLD OUT
