Track Didiher Mary's Progress

Didiher Mary's Path Since Release

Didiher Mary Update: July 20, 2009
Several weeks have now passed without a successful signal from Didiher Mary's satellite tag. Factors such as weather, location, battery life of the tag, and erosion of the adhesive used to hold it in place can lead to a lack of transmission. The device affixed to Didiher Mary's back operates using a battery pack, which typically sends a signal for approximately 90 days. In the three months that Didiher Mary was tracked, the turtle traveled a distance of 806 miles. We wish continued safe travels to Didiher Mary!

Released On: April 18, 2009 | Last Update: July 10, 2009
