Student Summer Program

All Positions for Summer of 2010 Are Filled

The Student Summer Program presents students with a unique opportunity to volunteer at the Aquarium and spend a summer sharing the Aquarium's mission and magic.

Participants increase their knowledge of marine environments, put smiles on children's faces, and meet folks from everywhere on Earth.

Requirements

Applicants:
  • have successfully completed ninth grade and at least one high school biology course
  • are environmentally aware
  • are interested in marine biology
  • enjoy smiling and talking to people.

Application Deadline

Application deadline for the summer of 2010 was in December 2009. All positions are now filled.

For information about receiving an application for the summer of 2011, please call the volunteer office at 410-576-3886. Application packets for the 2011 Student Summer Program will be available at local high schools at the end of October 2010. Applications are not available online.
