Shark Weekend returns for its 13th year at National Aquarium, Washington, DC!

A weekend filled with interactive activities such as scavenger hunts, face painting, shark feedings, and discussions with animal experts about the history, lives and habits of one of the world’s most fascinating ocean dwellers. Guests will have the opportunity to create their own shark t-shirt and shark art as well as visit Sherman’s Lagoon, based on the popular nationally syndicated cartoon series by Jim Toomey, and meet “Sherman” himself, brought to life as a costumed character exclusively for National Aquarium.

When:
Saturday, July 28 –Sunday, July 29
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Throughout event: Scavenger hunts, face painting, shark art
11am, 1pm, 3pm: Shark conversation with curator Jay Bradley
2pm: Shark feeding
