What is the annual attendance?

The Aquarium's average annual attendance is 1.6 million visitors.

• More than 70 percent come from out-of-state, primarily Pennsylvania and other mid-Atlantic states.
• Sixty-four percent of the Aquarium's visitors are adults. (That includes the 7 percent of the Aquarium visitors who are senior citizens.)
• Nineteen percent are children, fifteen percent are students, and two percent are active duty military personnel.
