Animal Interviews Grades Pre-K – 2
In these programs designed especially for the lower grade levels, young children observe, learn about, and interact with an exciting animal. Select from four programs – two for each age group.

Horseshoe Crab Grades Pre-K – K
What do you mean it's not a crab? Touch and learn the truth about this remarkable marine animal that appears on Atlantic beaches each spring.

Hermit Crab and Whelk Grades Pre-K – K
What do a hermit crab and a whelk have in common? They live in the same shell, but at different times. Examine a living whelk and learn how hermit crabs borrow shells to make a home.

Frogs Grades 1 – 2
Jumping, hopping, and gliding – frogs are fantastic animals! They use their eyeballs to help swallow food and some can jump 33 feet high. Learn about and view these amazing amphibians.

Shark Auditorium Presentation Grades 1 – 2
Dispel common misconceptions as you discover the characteristics that have helped sharks survive for millions of years.

Boneless Bunch Grades 1 – 3
Observe and compare living invertebrates such as sea urchins, whelks, horseshoe crabs, and hermit crabs – the "boneless bunch" – and study the adaptations that help them see, move, eat, and protect themselves.

Chesapeake Bay Explorations Grades 4 – 8
Oysters are indicators of the Chesapeake Bay's health. Test water samples, measure and analyze oyster populations, and draw conclusions about the state of the Bay.

Behind-the-scenes Tour Grades 9 – 12
This program, designed for advanced high school biology groups, emphasizes water chemistry, animal care, exhibit maintenance, and aquarium careers. Walk through the husbandry staff's back-up areas and find out what happens on the shark catwalk. Experience new sights, sounds, and smells!

Phylum Lab Grades 9 – 12
Did you know that 98 percent of all animals are classified into eight main phyla or sections? Learn about the different animal body plans and behaviors represented in each phyla through living animal interactions and artifacts.
