The Facts on Bioluminescence

A Glowing World

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Okeanos Explorer team was been in 2013, traveling to deep-sea habitats and studying marine life along the Northeast U.S. Canyons and at Mytilus Seamount. The team recorded lots of video, including some footage of bioluminescent species. Watch a highlight reel of the Northeast U.S. Canyons Expedition.
