Special needs guests can avoid the crowd by visiting on the first Saturday or first Sunday of the month. Our First Saturdays and First Sundays program allows visitors with special needs and their guests to enter 30 minutes before the Aquarium opens to the general public.

Oceans of Inspiration

Join Aquarium team members for a casual discussion about our programs and services. Learn first-hand about our excellence in animal care and leadership in educational and conservation initiatives. Session lasts one hour.

Marjorie Lynn Bank Lecture Series
Animals Make Us Human
Tuesday, November 10, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Ages: Recommended for ages 8 and up

Dr. Temple Grandin, associate professor of animal science at Colorado State University, has been described as "the most accomplished and well-known adult with autism in the world." Autism has not stopped her from earning a Ph.D. and becoming a best-selling author. Grandin will share her unique perspective and explore the connection between animals and humans by discussing animals' emotional and intellectual processes. » Learn more.

Quiet Time at the Aquarium

The Aquarium is keeping its doors open late so that our valued members can have the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing and crowd-free visit. Tour the Aquarium, including the newest exhibit, Jellies Invasion: Oceans Out of Balance. There will be no dolphin show that evening. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations are required and space is limited, so call now to reserve your tickets!
