Our most interactive exhibit yet, Living Seashore features two touchpools and a variety of hands-on experiences, which give the public many unique opportunities to explore the Mid-Atlantic shoreline.

Not only will guests have the chance to touch Atlantic stingrays, clearnose skates, moon jellies and other animals; they’ll also discover the treasures of this Mid-Atlantic habitat that exist beyond the boardwalk—from shifting dunes and sandy beaches to the crashing waves of the shore.

After learning about the creatures that inhabit our coastline, guests will have the opportunity to pledge to make a positive impact on our blue planet by becoming a Shore Hero
