Happy Birthday, Foster!

Foster, one of our youngest Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, turns seven today!

Foster was born here at the Aquarium on September 9, 2007.
You can recognize Foster by his light coloring, large eyes and slight underbite. He spends most of his time with our other male dolphin, Beau—the two are pair bonded. Typically with dolphins, two to three males are pair bonded, and females live in separate social groups.

As Foster grows, he continues to learn new behaviors. Right now, some of his favorite enrichment activities are basketball and hoseplay.

Join us in wishing Foster a happy 7th birthday in the comments section!
